Our surgery has a large team of administrative staff who cover a wide variety of roles including processing repeat prescriptions, dealing with test results, arranging referrals, summarising and coding medical records and preparing insurance claims.
Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide information on services and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. They may need to ask you for some information in order to deal with your request in the best way. They are bound by the practice confidentiality policy just as clinical staff are.
Practice pharmacists, Rachel & Tom, deal with medication reviews and queries by clinic and telephone appointments.
Provide antenatal and postnatal care for all pregnant women. They can provide information and support about pregnancy and facilities available.
This is a team of nurses who provide nursing care for patients unable to attend the surgery.
