Covid Vaccination Boosters
You may have seen the news about the plans to increase Covid vaccination boosters and how this might impact routine appointments. We know that this might be a worrying time for you. We are endeavouring to keep any impact from the vaccination programme to a minimum.
At this stage we are speedily trying to work through the details of what is needed to offer booster dose appointments to all eligible patients by the end of December. We have limited space at the surgery but we are setting up as many additional vaccination clinics as we can. Our reception team has been inundated with calls about vaccinations in addition to the usual requests.
Please read the latest update about Covid Vaccine booster doses and check the website regularly for further updates.
If you are within 28 days of a positive Covid PCR test or have symptoms and are awaiting a PCR result please do not attend the surgery for a vaccination. Please do not use Lateral Flow Tests if you have Covid symptoms; you need a PCR.
We will post more details about vaccinations as soon as possible. Please be patient and try to keep the surgery phone lines free for people who need urgent appointments. Thank you.
